Hyperfeeder
I finally finished working on hyperfeeder - a completely customizable RSS/RDF news feed aggregator with output in the HTML format. (APT sources for Debian available. Source code with install script for other distributions..)

The main reason I developed this was that I wanted to view images inline. While LJ's feed aggregator does this, it has a "score" tracker, which limits the number of feeds you can track.

Also, I periodically run it at my server (via crontab) and set the output file as a publicly accessible one. This way, I access the latest feeds wherever I am.

The present version (0.6.1) is production-quality and features a pretty efficient hand-written parser. More details here.

If you decide to use it, do send me feature requests and bug reports at <hyperfeeder at amitng dot net>.

For the impatient:

Thank you! :)

I have a question: your comment on [info]1pi00te005's journal said something like "choose A,B,C....". Any specific reason for that order?

Added you to my friends list, btw.

It was a generic advice, considering all the factors together.

If you wanna get into I-banking, A is the place to go (but be ready to be screwed). For everything else, there's IIMB. (spoken in MasterCard tone). But seriously, there's very little separating A & B apart from that.

B vs. C is a non-issue. We're far better than them on all fronts (except for the alumni network).

And do read the mail sent by the moderators on your Yahoogroup on this issue.

Adding you on.. you can read abt life@IIMB in my journal

Yeah, B vs. C is a complete non-issue for me too. It was A vs. B which was keeping me a little worried.

Even before the CAT I was heavily leaning toward the latter. I think I'm gonna stick to that decision.

As you said, there's very little separating A & B, apart from popular perception. I would need a better reason than that to uproot. :)
